Learn to Lead Trad - two day course (minimum 2 people)
This learn to lead trad course is for people with some experience of climbing on real rock, who want to progress to leading routes safely using trad gear, to enable you to climb on a whole variety of UK single pitch routes
Topics may include:
Guidebook use and access to crags
Movement and balance
Placing traditional gear on lead and to create belays
Construction of top rope systems
Safe belaying (from the top and the bottom)
Falling on gear
Abseiling with a prussik
Simple problem avoidance and solving
You must have your own climbing harness, shoes, and be able to tie in and belay
£200 per person
Accommodation is not included in the price. Travel can be arranged from an agreed point in London if required
